Our Big Patreon Update!

A big hello to our long-standing, newer and even not-yet-subscribed Patreon supporters!

We set up this Patreon way back in 2020, when we (Rob and Lee) first set up ToastieLabs as a full-time venture. It was a spur-of-the-moment idea to see if we could generate a little extra income to keep our little Games Studio afloat for just a little longer.

We didn't expect much more than support from our friends and family, and hoped for a couple of extra backers along the way. So, in all honesty, we essentially "set and forget" our Patreon page and have been both surprised and very grateful for the steady growth and support you have all shown us. So from all of us, thank you! 💖

We've always planned to update our Patreon page to show you all the love you deserve, and now that ToastieLabs is going through an exciting rebranding to add some colour and life to our image, it seemed like the perfect time to give our Patreon page a little refresh!

I'm sure you've all seen the new aesthetic changes to our Patreon page, but there is more to it than a makeover.

What's New

As well as fixing the out-of-date text and revisited the profile images. We have also updated our £5 Toastie Member and £10 Toastie Hero tiers with exciting new rewards!

Note: We have hidden the £1 backer role; it only has 4 backers and gets very little in the way of benefits, so it felt odd to keep it going. The 4 amazing backers we currently have can remain on the £1 backer role for as long as you like, but no new Patreon supporters will be able to select this option.

Games Corner Discount

We've added a "10% off our Games Corner" benefit to both the Toastie Member and Toastie Hero tiers. This is in preparation for the launch of our physical Game Store here in Gateshead, UK.

Selling custom ToastieLabs Merch, 3D-printed toys and even wargaming kits from our new partnership with Games Workshop, we have big, exciting plans for our new venture! Your membership to our Patreon will unlock a 10% discount in our shop. Just pop in, show proof of your membership, and we'll get you set up with an account on the till to ensure all your purchases are discounted.

If you're not in the UK, or don't think you'll be able to visit our shop in person, don't worry. You will still benefit from the Discount when we set up our online merch shop too, as we will work out getting your discounts applied there too.

On top of these expansion plans, when we open our Escape room and Gaming rooms, we will expand this discount into those areas as well, so check back in the future when we have more news on that!

Christmas Cards

Something that we tried last Christmas, we have now committed to sending personal Christmas cards to our Toastie Heroes! Just a nice extra thank you that we can send to you in person.

Please note: For the time being, we can only commit to sending these to Patrons in the UK due to postage costs.

Free DLC Keys

Now for the super exciting bit! By supporting us with an amazing £10 per month Patreon membership, we are going to be sending you DLC Steam keys each month! Starting next month (September 2026), you will be receiving a message on Patreon from us with Steam Keys for that month's DLC releases.

As of right now, you can expect Steam Keys for Coloring Pixels, Coloring Voxels and WooLoop. The Steam key(s) will be for the DLC(s) that are being released that month.

This is subject to change depending on what games we are developing in the future.

These keys are a gift to you as a thank you for your support. Once you have them, they are yours to do with as you please. Add them to your own Steam Library to play, give them away to a friend, or tattoo them onto your body (We don't endorse getting Steam Key tattoos); the possibilities are endless.
